El HeraldoAmbassador Lopez stated that the head of the Honduran Armed Forces and the Defense minister are currently in Israel acquiring equipment that is needed by the institution.

Tegucigalpa, Honduras

Israel’s ambassador to Honduras said yesterday that the decision of the government of Honduras to advocate for the recognition of Palestine at the United Nations (UN) is like “sticking a knife in the heart of the people and government of Israel “.

The diplomat offered these statements from Israel to Telenoticias. It was learned that the ambassador was in his country due to “consultations” he is making with his government after learning that Honduras would support Palestine. “We do not understand a decision of this nature. Israel was the only country that supported the people and government of Honduras in 2009.

I personally spent three months in Honduras to support the people and the government. I was in the elections to endorse the people and its government. We do not understand this unilateral decision that was not even consulted with us,” he said.

Cooperation

Ambassador Lopez said that “learning that a friendly country and its president made a decision without consulting us, is not the right thing, these are situations that do not take place among friendly governments. We were the country that backed Honduras, for years we have sent experts to Honduras, we have supported the economy. We do not deserve to learn of a decision of this nature, it is an obstacle for peace.

According to the diplomat, it is not true that the position of Honduras is a decision that was made in the heart of the Central American Integration System (SICA).

“This is not true … Guatemala, Belize, Panama, Mexico and El Salvador have not made a declaration of this nature (to support Palestine).

The only countries that made a statement in this regard are Nicaragua, Costa Rica and now Honduras. Other countries have not said anything that will support this determination.”

The ambassador said that he hoped that the government of Honduras reconsiders its decision. “The United States and European Union have decided not to support this decision (recognition of Palestine) because it is an obstacle for peace. The only way to achieve peace is through negotiations between Palestine and Israel. This is a country where half of the people are terrorists.”

“We do not accept this, I hope that the people and the government decide on this. I hope to get to Honduras as soon as possible and have a hearing with the authorities and clarify what is going on and that the government makes a positive decision. I hope to arrive at Honduras on August 16, “he said.

a/ If the Honduran govt is being squeezed by the Obama administration on this they need to reveal it.

b/ If the Honduran govt doesn’t reconsider their support for the Fakistininans, then to hell with Honduras.

Israel should take back all technical support in Honduras, no Jew or Christian should visit or give charity to Honduras, and when we get Obama out in 2012, the new American administration should do what it can do find more dependable anti-communists to support In Honduras.

Just because you’re anti-communist, if you support jihad you do not deserve to be in power.

If you think Obama made trouble for you last time, just wait.
